You will notice that we do not automatically calculate shipping in our shopping cart. It's not because we can't do so, it's because we can't do so and still provide you with the best price. A great price on flooring products is of little value to you if the cost of delivery is high and erodes the savings found in the price of the products. If we used a single carrier or a contract company for product delivery we could easily display a shipping price within our shopping cart. However, this would substantially add to the cost of the freight and you wouldn't realize much in the way of cost savings. Because we have contracts with several different national and regional freight companies, each with specialized delivery systems and, because we ship a lot of product we are able to offer substantially lower rates on shipping and delivery.
